1. How can I register?
You can register by clicking on the link here or by following the link on the top right hand corner.

2. Do I have to register?
For general users of the CHM, there is no need to register. All users can search the document repository and download them for free (Except in certain cases where the document might be protected by password. In those cases, if you are authorized to view the file the password will be emailed to you).

If you need to contribute to the CHM by uploading documents, then you will have to register. The administrator will review your account and you will be informed of the decision by email. In order to receive the email, it is imperative that you specify the correct email id in your personal profile. Administrator is not responsible for any missed communication due to invalid email ids.

3. I can see the document in my search results but when I click on the link it gives a "Page not found" error.
The documents in the site are validated by the administrator before they become accessible. Sometimes the metadata or the document needs to be changed. In those cases, the document is deactivated by the administrator till the metadata and the document is reviewed. The indexing service which indexes the documents runs at specific intervals. So when the administrator deactivates the document, it might not be picked up the service for few minutes to couple to hours. In that period, you will see the "Page not found" error. Try your search again after few hours . If the problem persists, contact the adminsitrator.

4. I have an account but I need to update my information. How can I do that?
Once you log in you should be able to see your username in the top right corner. Click on the username to edit your personal details and/or to reset the password.

5. How can I reset my password?
See the answer to Question 4.

6. My username-password for CHM doesn't work for the discussion board.
The discussion board is free independent service. You will have to register separately to receive an account. The usual CHM username-password will not work for the discussion board.
