This webpage is dedicated to the Belize Forest Department. Our international visitors, will find our locator map and other relevant information very useful. Visitors at home and abroad will find information on our programs, current projects and employee listings. The Forest Department acts as the focal body for the Convention on Biological Diversity. As such the Belize Biodiversity Clearinghouse Mechanism is currently being administered by the Forest Department. The Belize Biodiversity Clearinghouse Mechanism is a national repository for biodiversity and natural resources management related data and information. This is a free service providing relevant material to all and is based on the philosophy that broad participation and easy access must be top priority. For information about the Belize Biodiversity Clearinghouse Mechanism please contact the CHM Administrator at frpm@mnrei.gov.bz or the Biodiversity Program at biodiversity@mnrei.gov.bz.
